Position Summary
Duravex is seeking a skilled MIG & TIG Welder to join our fabrication team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality welds on a variety of fabricated components and assemblies used across industrial and engineered systems. We value precision, accountability, and a commitment to safety in every weld.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless, and aluminum components according to blueprints, welding procedures, and job specifications.
- Inspect materials and completed welds to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, shop prints, and work orders.
- Operate grinders, cutting tools, and related fabrication equipment.
- Follow all company safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safe work practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and support lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality output.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Proficient with reading technical drawings and using measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.).
- Ability to weld in multiple positions and on varying material thicknesses.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; welding certification(s) preferred but not required.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time, first-shift position (typically 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM, Monday through Friday). Overtime may be required based on production needs.
